Training in the Age of AI: How to stay relevant in the job market.

The Rise of Artificial Intelligence

If you haven't noticed yet, artificial intelligence (AI) is already impacting our lives and, surprisingly, it will soon be present in even the smallest details of our daily lives. It all started with GPT Chat, an AI that initially generated text responses, acting as if it were Google, but without showing results on infinite pages. This advancement, in fact, paved the way for a variety of AI's.

AI and the Job Market

Every day, new AIs emerge that produce videos, images, voices, faces, lines of code and other functionalities. They are fascinating, but they also generate a new type of fear in the job market. You may have heard or read that AI can replace us as it creates what we create in moments. However, the tendency is for the market to change differently.

AI as a Work Tool

It is undeniable that AI will play a major role in the processes of several companies. However, she does not work alone. Therefore, it will be essential to learn more about AI to use it to our advantage. By mastering the platform, we improve our production in time, creativity and ideas. This, in turn, increases our value as professionals in an increasingly selective market.

Education in the Age of AI

Looking to the future, I believe we will have technical courses on prompt engineering. They will teach you how to operate the various AIs that are emerging right now. We will learn how to prepare a question/prompt to obtain assertive results or ask for inspiration for projects. This knowledge will undoubtedly help us perform better in personal and professional projects.

Adaptation to the New Market

Because of these points, it is important to adapt to the new market model. We need to qualify more and leave the fear of being replaced by AI behind. Throughout history, we have created various machines, but we have always been the ones to operate them. With AI's, it will be no different. We need to understand and ally ourselves with this new technology that is already revolutionizing the job market.
